Dr. Rubin Piranaj has been treating our four legged friends for six years in his small practice in Shkodra.  The need for a bigger clinic came after the practice grew out of the increasing number of pets adopted by the citizens of Shkodra. As the practice grew Dr. Piranaj saw the need for a bigger clinic which will allow him to welcome his patients in a newer facility.

“Putrat” Clinic will be providing compassionate, state-of-the-art preventative, diagnostic, and surgical veterinary care for Shkodra and surrounding areas. It will employ advanced technologies and procedures, including ultrasound, as well as routine examinations and vaccinations.

This state-of-the-art, modern clinic is the first in the city of Shkodra and deserves the due recognition. Dr. Piranaj is a trail blazer in this field and he had the foresight to open the first all inclusive animal clinic in a city where six years ago pet ownership was close to zero.

Dr. Piranaj has been involved with bettering the lives of many stray dogs through initiatives aided by the city of Shkodra , Pro Qen Albania , Straycoco , Animals Need Me  and others. These initiatives involved the sterilization of over 400 dogs! The work that Dr. Piranaj is conducting to ease the population of stray animals in the city of Shkodra is to be commended and the work he will continue to perform both voluntarily and through his clinic must be supported by all; citizens and government.
